      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello la team,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there any way to clone a user with all attribute (except ID ) I mean with all groups ans policy if there ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;now when I clone a user I get all empty like I create new user,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm looking for a way using CLI or GUI (I'm using smart console R81.20)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Not clear what kind of user you are talking about here, but I'm fairly certain there isn't a "clone" option for any of them.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In any case, Access Policies are defined in terms of Access Roles.&lt;BR /&gt;Access Roles are usually determined by querying the user in Active Directory.&lt;BR /&gt;For locally defined users, you can use the legacy user groups and assign those to an Access Role.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You could probably take the relevant API/CLI output of the desired user (e.g. &lt;A href="https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/latest/APIs/#cli/show-user~v1.9.1%20" target="_self"&gt;show user&lt;/A&gt; name cloneme) and use that to construct the new user (e.g. &lt;A href="https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/latest/APIs/#cli/set-user~v1.9.1%20" target="_self"&gt;set user&lt;/A&gt; name cloneduser ....)&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;thanks for your response,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as I mention above, I'm talking about local user who use VPN&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sor If&amp;nbsp; I have new person join I wont assign group by group manually, I go to reference account make a clone put the new ID and name then save&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
