Configuring Email Alert for Security Gateway's Hardware health status

I want to configure an email alert for my checkpoint security gateway 7000 series hardware health status. It should send an email whenever any of the gateway hardware fails.

I appreciate everyone's help on this matter.

I think you can only use SNMP for this, as stated here:

Maybe you can make something custom with syslog but I would count more on SNMP
