BGP Route failing after SMB firmware upgradation from R81.10.07 to R81.10.08

Dear Team,

Customer is experiencing a BGP protocol failure after upgrading the firmware of the SMB appliance from R81.10.07 (996001430) to the latest available version R81.10.08_996001608.

POA:

Reverted back to the R81.10.07 version, now everything is working as expected.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING HERE??

I believe we've seen reports of this issue in the community.
Recommend involving the TAC: https://help.checkpoint.com

Note the latest recommended firmware for R81.10.08 is now Build 996001683, with a lot of stability fixes.
TAC will most likely tell you to start from there.. I believe its worth upgrading to the latest version to start out with.
