Can I upgrade Firewalls to R81.20 while the Management Server is still R81.10?

Hi All,

I am planning to upgrade all my Firewall from R81.10 to R81.20.

However, my Management Server will still be on R81.10.

Will there be any compatibility issue during or after the upgrade?

Any advice or experience will be greatly appreciated please.

Yes it's possible with the right Jumbo applied to Mgmt (Take 82 or above), note newer features typically won't be available however until both are upgraded.

Added ability for R81.10 Security Management and Multi-Domain Security Management Server to manage R81.20 Security Gateways. It Requires R81.10 SmartConsole Build 412 (or higher).

Managing R81.20 Security Gateways in Autonomous Threat Prevention mode requires installing R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator.
