The time is reset after the gateway is rebooted

Good afternoon.

We have a problem. After a reboot we have a time reset on the Security Gateway and the cluster starts to crash because of it. We have to rebuild the cluster again.

At first we thought the problem was the battery on the motherboard, as described in sk114168 and in a previous discussion Solved: Low Battery Voltage - Check Point CheckMates. (I would like to clarify that both in clish and expert mode the time is reset in the same way)

However, replacing the battery did nothing and the problem persisted.
Hardware Health did not show any problem with the battery voltages before and after replacing the battery.

The gateway is version R77.30 Take 351. Perhaps someone has encountered a similar problem?

For context is NTP configured in the environment for time sync per best practice?

Note R77.30 is no longer supported and you should consider upgrading to a newer version.

Hello, NTP is not configured. We do not observe such problems on the second node

This is most likely a hardware issue and the gateway will require replacement.
Seems like a good opportunity to upgrade to a supported release as well (R77.30 has been End of Support for a few years now).

sk114168: The 'clock' command in Expert mode shows a different time than the 'show clock' command in Gaia Clish

Yes, we do time adjustments this way, but after rebooting, the time is reset again.
