Disable Firewall Antispam module

Hi!

We wanted to disable the Antispam module of the Firewall because we are not using it and when we disabled it, our current Antispam stopped delivering emails to the Exchange with the legend:

dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: lost connection to ... while receiving ... response)

We re-enabled the Antispam sheet and now it works normally.

Does somebody knows what it is happening? We dont have any SMTP object created.

The mentioned feature is not AntiSpam blade. AntiSpam is configured via old SmartDashboard. AntiSpam does checking blacklists, looking for spam etc.

You‘re showing the Mail features of ThreatPrevention. This checks mail messages for virusfiles, malicious attachments or malaicious links inside of mail messages. You have to enable MTA on the gateway to use this.

These are two different features for mail security which are differently configured.

Please show more details. What was disabled ? Which system shows the shown error message?

I agree with @Wolfgang ...what you disabled is NOT anti-spam blade. Im 100% positive that if you disabled the actual anti spam, this would have never happened.
