Creation and Integration of a Loopback Interface.

Hello everybody.

A question, when creating a Loopback Interface in a Checkpoint Cluster.

Is it also necessary, from the Cluster object in the SmartConsole, to "pull the topology"?

We need to create a Loopback interface for testing purposes in our Cluster, the documentation tells us the steps, but does not highlight anything about whether or not it is mandatory to "pull" the topology from the SmartConsole.

NO, edit the cluster manually in SmartConsole. Get IF with Topolgy is not suggested when in production, see https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Security-Gateways/Get-Interfaces-with-topology/m-p/184743#M33949

Hello,

I think I didn't transmit well my doubt.

We want to create Loopback interfaces in the Cluster.

We can do both through Gaia Portal and Gaia Clish.
So far so good.

But, we have to call the interfaces in from the SmartConsole, with a Get Interface Without Topology, so that the interfaces work properly?

Is it mandatory to call the interfaces in the SMS?

Just add it in SmartDashboard cluster config manually as i wrote above.
