Transparent proxy only processes HTTP traffic on the specified ports (8080, 9999, or whatever).
This is described here: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk110013
What is your exact goal in using Transparent Proxy here?

Hi,

I am configuring the on premise Check Point 6200B as a Transparent Proxy for outbound traffic from clients. See attached screenshot. I have changed the default port 8080 to 9999 since the port 8080 was already in use by an internal application which gave a conflict.

On the Windows Test client i have no proxy configured since we are looking to test the Transparent option.

My question: How is the Port 9999 (or 8080 if you keep the default) being used in the proxy traffic between the client and the gateway?

I don't see that port 9999 in the Wireshark captures when browsing the internet. The proxy connection itself works OK which i can check by examening the certificate in the client browser. Shows the gateway CERT.
