chattr +i /opt/fw1/conf/masters doesnt work on 1120 Appliance

Hi, all!

Im trying to preserve manual changes in the $FWDIR/conf/masters on1120 Appliance

Version:

R77.20.80 (990172507)

And got the error

chattr: reading flags on /opt/fw1/conf/masters: Inappropriate ioctl for device

But i got success when run it on 1430 Appliance

The sing is that we use SmartProvisioning for managing GWs so this solution https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk102712 doesnt fit.

The question, Is it possible to run chattr or lsattr correctly on 1120 Appliance at all?

I suspect $FVWDIR/conf/masters is on a read-only filesystem in the 1120, whereas it's not on 1430.
In any case, the 1120 has been End of Life for a year now.
