Hello, everybody.

I have a Smart-1 appliance that works as a dedicated SmartEvent. The appliance is running version R81.10 take 87.

We are having problems displaying the logs in real time.

Does anyone know the exact way in which we could fix the problem of the high CPU consumption alert on the appliance, and try to be able to see the logs again????

Thanks for the support.

Is this a new installation or an existing one?

Note that on new installations, it is common for Java to take a lot of CPU while logs are being indexed.
This can take a while and the processes are set to a lower priority by design to allow other processes to operate unimpeded.
This can also occur if you force the logs to be reindexed (needed if you import old log files).

If this is happening outside of those conditions, your best bet is to engage with the TAC: https://help.checkpoint.com
