Install database on global smartevent server

Hello.

I am following sk111766 and in step number 5 it says to "install database on smartevent server".

Our environment is MDS and we have dedicated global smartevent server.

In this case there is no option to install database on the global smartevent object,

so my question is how can I do this install database?

You need to do that from the Global MDS domain.

I do not see such option on the global MDS domain too.

Did you find a solution? I just wanted to do the same and realized that Global SmartConsole under R81.10 does not allow Install Database any more.

I recently faced this problem as well.
I found confirmation of this in sk117317 . The settings with Global SmartEvent are made via the configuration file $FWDIR/conf/log_policy_extended.C
