      <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;According to sk171436, I am configuring HealthCheck Point. When I configure Step 2 of Adding Extension in SmartConsole, an error "cannot connect to the remote server" appears, and the URL cannot be added. What is the reason? Attached is the screenshot details.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I just followed the sk in my R81.20 lab and worked like a charm. Once you do that, you will be able to add the extension in smart console, and it will give you cert warnings, but thats expected, since it will most likely have self-signed certificate.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Connect to your Security Management Server via SSH and run:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;# service hcp_ext start&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;# hcp --ext-update-reports all&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You must run this command on every restart of the Security Management Server to collect a report from the newly created &amp;nbsp;Security Gateway.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How should that help ? We see that Dashboard is unable to get the json from the webserver - if a hcp run is possible or not ! What about other, simpler extensions, do they work ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
