Reset admin password for R77.30 Management server on Hyper-V

Hello everyone,

We have an old checkpoint setup at one client having R77.30 as the management server on Hyper-V VM, we want to upgrade and export backup/database but admin/cli access credentials is not available also 77.30 it's no more supported by Checkpoint.

We want to reset admin credentials on server to clean log files/database and export backup, i tried to search but what i found is for VMware, can someone guide me to link describing the overall process to reset admin credentials for the server installed on Hyper-V?

Not sure how much of this you can apply in Hyper-V, but you have a couple of options:

EmergenDisk: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92663
Booting into Maintenance Mode (need to get to boot menu)
