IPSO4.2 backup auto transfer does not work

i have two IPSO 4.2 firewall, however, one of the firewall cannot backup file auto transfer to an FTP server.

another one is successfully upload. i saw the FTP log is reject the Firewall login.

using the voyager job scheduler command only FTP [ip address], does not have any user account and password.

is that any way i can reach the user account name and password?

Support for IPSO 4.x has long since been discontinued.

That said, I vaguely remember there was a dot file in the admin directory that one could establish auto login information in (.ftprc, maybe?)

You might want to check this on the system where FTP backup is working.

since I am using the cluster, B FW cannot login to the FTP server. that why I would like to know why A FW cannot loging to the FTP server. since FTP server log said the account was reject.

is it possible to find out where is the .ftprc is it?

You would have to log into the relevant firewall with ssh/console and do a directory listing of /home/admin (e.g. ls -la).

I don't see any /home, its only emhome

I can reach emhome/admin but I can't find the script folder or .sh file.

any idea?

Perhaps try a manual FTP from the shell on the problematic firewall to see what error you get.
