Hello All,

I'm trying to set fw_allow_out_of_state_tcp = 1 in the VSX environment and enabled that parameter in /opt/CPsuite-R80.40/fw1/boot/modules/fwkern.conf file as well. But it seems like does not survive during a reboot or policy installation. I really appreciate it if you could let me know how to enable that permanently? Firmware version is R80.40.

Regards

#vsx

That command is, by it's nature, temporary.
To disable it permanently: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk11088&partition=Advanced&product=Quantum
But like I said in your other thread, it's far better to make a more specific exception versus disable this globally.
