I would expect that if you use MAPI over HTTP(S) that this would not be an issue anymore.       <title>Outlook to Exchange : traffic drops</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have seen various installation where Outlook conencts to Exchange and the customer complains about inactivity issues on the clients. Mostly after the lunch break.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems to be related to the use of plain MAPI over MAPI over HTTP. It only seems to be an issue with plain MAPI traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have experience with similar issues and did you find a way to curtail the use of random TCP high ports from Exchange back the Outlook client?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
