&lt;P&gt;I run into the same issue after upgrading to R80.40, however, are issues were slow web responses over VPN's (would take 12-20 seconds for sites to load).&amp;nbsp; Had to put a https inspection IKE bypass rule in to resolve issues.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI Checkmates,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good Day,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We had an&amp;nbsp; initiative to upgrade our R80.10 Checkpoint Mgmt / Gateway&amp;nbsp; to R80.40.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The mgmt upgrade went well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The vsec Gateway also went fine but ,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However, In the logs we noticed an Internal system error in https Inspection blade.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Internal system error in HTTPS Inspection (Error Code: 2) - this stops the https inspection for our inbound traffic going to a server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;it became bypass. No change our rules and we tried to reinstalled&amp;nbsp;it but still failed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Anyone has experienced this?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Our deployment is the GCP , Google Cloud. - Distributed - Open servers&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We made a fresh install , we introduced&amp;nbsp; new VM with new version.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The latest hotfix was also installed for both.&amp;nbsp; Take 91&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class="mceNonEditable lia-copypaste-placeholder"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
