Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

Recently my customer has expressed interest in using Azure Site Recovery to protect his VMware VMs.

Based on what I read in the Azure doc, replication data is stored in an Azure Storage Account which reachable over the Azure public endpoint or ExpressRoute, the former secured via HTTPS.

Has anyone been successful in using CG IaaS to secure the Azure public endpoint?

Also, in the event of a failover an Azure VM is spun up which utilizes the Storage Account. For users to access this VM it would make sense for them to have VPN access to it via CG IaaS.

Looking forward to your comments/solutions.
