I'm confused.

I started yesterday cpsizeme, and the tool asked me if I'd like to update it.

I have agreed for the update.

After that, I started it again, but then it told me, that cpsizeme could not be found.

That was the reason to look at this forum and the above SK "agreed", that Open Servers are not supported anymore...

However, after your post, I have retried it again and now it's working... weird world...

Thanks a lot!

I would like to determine if the licenses which a client of ours has is sufficient in terms of CPU utilization and the number of cores they can use to manage their environment is sufficient? Thought the tool would be helpful in providing some statistics for same as well as assessing the cpustat for multi cpu systems and top commands.

One big benefit of cpsizme was to generate a XML file. This file was importable on the Appliance Sizing Tool.

It's a nightmare to evaluate the best sizing for new gateways if I had to execute x-times the cpview output by pressing the "+" or "-" key and document the values for CPU and troughput.

Take a look at sk125092 and see if DiagnosticsView helps. I'll add the caveat that I haven't tried it with the DB from an open server.

I just started cpsizeme on R80.40 VMware GW without errors. I will report in 24 hours what the result is 8)

I have experienced the same thing - seems that the update takes some time, and trying to start cpsizeme too early prompts this error. So it just needs a short wait after update 8)
