MDS R80.40 HF Upgrade procedure

Hi,

Currently, we are in R80.40 Build 88 and planning to go with hotfix upgrade of our MDS (both prim/sec) to HF 91/94. I couldn't able to find a step by step process document. Since this is the 1st time, i am gonna do minor HF upgrade of MDS. Can one of you post the upgrade procedure which contains step by step guide ? that would be helpful. Thank you.

1) Create a snapshot on clish "add snapshot <snapshot name>"
2) Install the Jumbo Hotfix + Reboot

Here's what I do:
- Create snapshot
- take a mds export/backup of the configuration
- ensure CPUSE agent is updated
- if your server is not connected to the internet, download the latest GA release (and ensure you do a md5 check sum on it) and then import this into the repository:
   CLISH:
   installer import local /<PATH to FILE>/Jumbo filename.tgz
   installer install package <select the correct package to install>
The jumbo will now install and then reboot the system after, also in a HA system its suggested to do the primary first.

You can of course import from the WEBUI as well and do this.

As its an MDS it’s also important to reassign global policy.

and also to check active sessions/locks and discard or publish them.
