With R80.40, you have Support for VSX upgrade with CPUSE in Gaia Portal. Lower versions would use CPUSE CLI.

The cool thing about doing it offline via the CLI is the commands become deterministic. You never need to use tab completion.

Copy the file to the server you are updating. It can be put almost anywhere. For this example, I will use /home/admin.

Import the fix into CPUSE using 'clish -c "installer import local /home/admin/Check_Point_R77_30_JUMBO_HF_1_Bundle_T351_FULL.tgz"'

Install the fix using 'clish -c "installer install Check_Point_R77_30_JUMBO_HF_1_Bundle_T351_FULL.tgz"'

Done.
