Will there be any posture checking on the connecting system to validate anti-malware is installed and working before allowing a connection or the ability to perform a scan on the connecting system?

I think you should look at Pulse Secure as a leading ZTNA provider and the capabilities and posture assessment, to see what functionality should/could be added to the roadmap and how to prioritise.
