Checkpoint Firewall-User Categories

In the organisation which I work in there are two groups of users.

The 1st group- Does troubleshooting at an OS level, updating security fixes etc.

The 2nd group- Is involved only on adding modifying policies/ rules.

Just wanted to check if it is possible two user groups for an above function?

Yes it is possible. The first group is on OS level, requires admin role

The second group is for users on SmartConsole only. Make sure you remove OS admin accounts from there, if you need to disallow the first group to push policies.
