Hi,

IPsec VPN doesnt go up between two gateways on the same management. We see only Phase 1 I ident traffic on tcpdump at two gateways. We tried various encryption/NAT traversal methods etc. What do you think about this?

Thanks,

Zeki

Is there any other filtering device between the 2 gateways? Gateway A sends but does not receive any responses, while gateway B sends them.

When you have an ADSL type modem in front of the device, turn off it's firewall and tell it to passthrough all IPSEC traffic.
