Hello CheckMates,

we are analyzing a problem regarding ClusterXL (R80.30) in vmac-mode and a VMware NSX-edge gateway.

The gateway is connected to the ClusterXL, this is the router for all internal networks.

We had some connectivity problems if the active firewall-node moves to another machine. It looks like we had a problem with sending and receiving MAC-addresses in vmac-mode like described in ClusterXL Virtual MAC (VMAC) mode and Cisco Conversational MAC Learning are not compatible.

Has anyone experience with NSX-Edge connected to a ClusterXL-system?

Wolfgang
