R80.40 Upgrade Open Server

Dear All,

Is it possible to upgrade a R80.30 (Take 214) Standalone (GW+MGMT) Open Server with 2.6 kernel to R80.40?

I tried many options but seems like clean install is the only way available in CPUSE.

The base version of R80.40 does not support install on Open Servers.
This wasn’t supported until JHF48 and I believe there is a Blink image can be installed via CPUSE that should allow the upgrade (installing R80.40 and JHF48 in one go).

Hi,

We have no Blink image for standalone machines, so the only method would be advance upgrade.

So seems like only option is migrate export & import in this case.

How likely an upgrade package will be released for these kind of deployments?

Perhaps this will be possible with R81, but probably not in R80.40.
