For blades the rule is that the license will be applied to the gateway itself and becomes available to all VS's, to my knowledge this goes the same for the MOB blade.

Hi Everyone,

I have a VSX gateway cluster, and I need to up the MAB licenses for one of the virtual devices.

I know how to generate Evals for a physical device, but I'm not sure what sort of license to generate in this instance. Do I still do the All-In-One and assign it to the VSX gateway? Or can I do Other Evaluation -> CPSG-MOB-U-EVAL and just assign to the virtual device?

Thanks,
Ruan

Thanks Maarten, I will generate and apply and report back afterwards!

Hi Maarten,

Thanks for the guidance, you were correct. I generated two All-In-One evals, applied it to both nodes in my VSX cluster. Full functionality then became available in my Virtual Systems, including unlimited MAB.

Thanks again,
Ruan
