Hi Guys,

I've used already the IA blade before but recently I noticed there is also User Directory option and it seems to be the same way as IA does. May I know what is the difference between the two and which one is better to use?

Thanks

See the details in Security Management Administration Guide R80.30 p.254 ff - but the simple explanation is:

- IA will show you user names in logs and enforce network access and audit data, based on network location, the identity of the user, and the identity of the computer. IA license is always included...

- UD (an old blade that needs it own license !) lets you manage Users externally by an LDAP server and the Security Management Server can use the LDAP data to authenticate users.
