Upgrading from Gateway 15400 to 16000

We are in the process of replacing a 15400 gateway cluster with a 16000 cluster. How do we match up the physical interfaces from the 15400 to the 16000?

Hello!
Just copy interfaces from 'show configuration' output and replace them with the new naming convention of the 16k appliances, the copy paste the configuration on the 16k 🙂
Example:
15400 eth1
16000 eth1-01

It's not a literal example, you can find both namings by using show interfaces or ifconfig

if you back up the config file and export it a new firewall using the following process;

HostName > set clienv on-failure continue
HostName > load configuration <filename>
HostName > set clienv on-failure stop
HostName > save config

Does the SIC get imported?

@cdurham No, you will have to re-do SIC.

Also, mind the interface names. They are not identical. You will have to manually edit the configuration file before importing.
