Hello

In the logs I sometimes get "Connection Alert" messages with the Reason of: Firewall - Domain resolving error. Check DNS configuration on the gateway (0)

Running R80.20 in VSX mode 2x VS

How to correct this?

//Johan

Are you using domain objects?
It appears this might be the result of a bug: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk120558
However, that bug should be fixed on R80.20 according to the SK.
Recommend getting the TAC involved.

No we are using Network Object "Internet", strange if the bug still exsists on version R80.20 HFA Take 47 that we are on right now, going for HFA Take 103 tomorrow though.

We did apply the HFA Take 103 for R80.20 and that solved the problem both with this DNS error and the Connection Alert error messages when a Chromebook computer surfs the net by ipv6 🙂
