Hello everyone,

Sometimes when I download files from Support Center I get a .txt instead of the actual extension. The file Hash is correct, so I can just rename the file and use it.

Could this be an issue with Support Center or could my Check Point gateway be causing this somehow?

I'm using NGTP with HTTPS inspection and TE is off.

I've seen that before. Looks like a browser issue to me.

Honestly, Check Point should just make sure their website works properly in all common browsers in my opinion. It's 2019. This issue occurs in FireFox as well.

Hey guys,

I just had a zoom session with Yaniv Levi and Tamir Fogel and they found out the issue was due to a download manager that installed a Chrome extension.

For whatever reason it only affected Check Point sites, at least from the ones I've tested. Even though the manager was configured only for files larger than 1 GB it was affecting small files.

Disabling or uninstalling the extension or adding checkpoint.com to the exclusions list solved the problem.

Thank you Yaniv and Tamir
