Using my CheckPoint 3200 as my internet Gateway

I, unable to have internet access using my Checkpoint 3200. I want all internet traffic to pass through my CheckPoint and equally give users access to the internet.

Please, help with links or steps to to this. First time user aka novice.

Could you give us some background on your setup please for us to assist?

BUT, quick question, have you configured NAT either globally on the gateway with option "Hide internal networks behind the Gateway's External IP" OR manually/automatic on network objects?

Have you also defined your topology correctly within SmartConsole?

Hello Mark,

Will share config details with snap shot later.
I have done all initial basic configuration for my LAN & WAN.
i have equally defined my topology with SmartConsole.
Note: I want to be able to ping 8.8.8.8 from ChekPoint box
Note: I want all general users internet traffic to be routed using CheckPoint 3200.
Note: I have used SmartConsole to allow all LAN request to internet destinations.

All I can see is your image as an attachment of your ICMP requests.

As other members of the forum has stated, the CheckPoint 4 Beginners videos would be of help.

To help on this instance, we would require further information and screenshots of the below.

1) Topology Definition of the Gateway in SmartConsole

2) Screenshot of the NAT Policy

3) Screenshot of the rulebase.

Thanks to everyone of you for your support. My Firewall is now routing traffic to the internet and all user are happy.

Next is to enable port address translation.
