How to get msi file from EndpointSetup.exe

Hi all,

I trying to get the msi file from Harmony Endpoint tiny agent EndpointSetup.exe for GPO configuration. I try the "EndpointSetup.exe /CreateMSI" command it don't work it installs the product.

Can someone gives me the real command or other way to get the msi file ?

Hi Adam,

That is the correct command. It will download the EPS.msi file and then the installer will exit.

Just tested on my side with Tiny Agent version 86.25.50.60

Hi Ruan, I have the problem that I dont know where to run the command "EndpointSetup.exe /CreateMSI", is it on the client device in CMD? I tried it in the CMD and it is not working and I have no idea where I else should try it. Thanks and best regards

hello , i have an issue creating the MSI file.

it is asking for the administrative password which , i believe, is the uninstall password .

Am i right and is it normal ?

You need to download the EndpointSetup.exe file from the relevant option at the top of the portal with label "Download Endpoint"

I think this is the Windows administrator password and not related to the uninstall password for endpoint

I think is more general Windows related question and can see lots of information on google

To install the Harmony Endpoint client using MSI through a command line interface, run this command locally as administrator on the computer

Are you running msi as an administrator?

Uninstall password is needed when performing an upgrade or uninstall and can be provided on the command line to avoid popup being displayed

UNINST_PASSWORD="<uninstall password>"

Self-protection password. Provide this property to avoid displaying the Password Dialog. (Required if performing an upgrade or uninstall in silent mode)
