New Push Operations - from 86.40

Hi,

I saw in the Release Notes for the 86.40 endpoint client the ability to PUSH operations such as creating and deleting a VPN site and registry key or value, etc.

How are these performed and utilized? I could not found any documentation or guide to deploy (push) these operations.

Currently using SmartEndpoint 80.30 (on-prem). Is this feature available only on the Harmony Endpoint Management (cloud)?

I think you need at least R80.40 for your management server to use Push Operations: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R80.40/SmartEndpoint_OLH/EN/Topics-EPSG/PushOpSettings.html

Hi Val,

They are also here in 80.30 (although we are planning an upgrade to 80.40), and I can use them: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R80.30/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R80.30_EndpointSecurity_AdminGuide/html_frameset.htm

But they are only the ones mentioned in the Guide (Anti-Malware, SandBlast Agent Forensics Remediation and Anti-Ransomware, Client Settings), no mention of some type of custom PUSH operations or the ones introduced from 86.40 endpoint client (creating and deleting a VPN site and registry key or value, collecting processes information...)

It seems that the functionality is currently available only for Cloud Harmony Endpoint management users, the on-prem Endpoint management server doesn't support those features, although they seem to be on the roadmap:
