Migrating from on-prem to cloud

When migrating from on-prem to cloud we have about 90% of our clients are Encrypted. (FDE) Is there a way to avoid uninstalling the fat client and essentially unencrypting the client? That could be a huge endeavor.

In general I don't believe that is necessary.

Are you seeing a reference to this requirement in the documentation / limitations ?

No I have not but I also have not seen much about if the fat client is already loaded on the systems what needs to be done. Just the reconnect tool run on the PC's?

In the past these migrations were TAC guided so I suggest checking with them regarding your specific configuration if you have any doubts / proactively engaging them will also be advantageous in the event that any issues happen to arise.

A reconnect tool that will enable FDE migration is expected to be released together with the upcoming E87.30 release which should be available in the beginning of April more or less.
Feel free to contact @yuris for further information or if you need it urgently earlier.
