Most common causes for this specific symptom:

License not yet attached/assigned to the client in the portal. If the endpoint never received a valid license assignment (or the assignment didn't propagate), the client can't register with the management, and the agent stays in this "not loading" state. I've seen this exact scenario before: a client with a license pending assignment in the console, resolved as soon as the license was attached to the device.

Lack of connectivity to Check Point's cloud services (without reaching management/licensing, the agent also fails to complete initialization).

The Check Point Endpoint Security service (or
TracSrvWrapper
) isn't running or hangs on startup.

Driver conflict with another antivirus/EDR installed on the machine.

Corrupted local agent database.

After a Windows update, the agent driver stopped loading due to incompatibility. This is common on older builds like this one running on a Windows install that's been updated several times since 2019.

Suggested steps

Check in the portal (Infinity Portal / management console) whether a license is assigned to this specific endpoint. This is the first thing to rule out before touching anything locally on the machine. If the license isn't attached, no local step will fix it.

Run the built-in connectivity test, in the install folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Endpoint Common\bin\CheckConnectivity.exe

This confirms whether the machine can reach Check Point's cloud services (management, licensing, etc). If several tests fail, the problem may be network/DNS/local firewall, before you even get to the license question.

Open Windows Services (
services.msc
) and check the status of "Check Point Endpoint Security" and "TracSrvWrapper". If they're stopped, try starting them manually and note the exact error, if any.

Open Event Viewer, Windows Logs, Application and System, filter for "CheckPoint" / "TRAC" / "EPS" around the time the error screen appeared, to see the actual initialization failure.

Check whether another antivirus/EDR is installed alongside it (driver conflict is a classic cause of this kind of failure).

Try to Repair the installation: Control Panel, Programs and Features, Check Point Endpoint Security, right click, Repair.

If nothing works, consider updating the client with Automatic Client Update in the Infinity Portal's Software Deployment policy, to bring this endpoint automatically to a current, compatible build. (official documentation)

We're here to help. If you can share the tests (license status, CheckConnectivity.exe result, and whatever shows up in Event Viewer), we can see how the environment is behaving and keep helping you.
