tracsrvwrapper keeps trying to start

Hi,

I recently installed Checkpoint Endpoint V88.3

After installation, when i run the Checkpoint, it opens in a state that does not allow me to do any thing. i checked the Windows Services and see tracsrvwrapper keeps trying to start and gets terminated.

Please help.

Two ways you can do it

1- use push operation to "repair client"
2- Update the client to the recommended version E88.72

TracSrvWrapper.exe is essential for Check Point VPN to function, allowing users to securely access corporate networks.

Has there been any solution? This happens to me as well, and is a critical issue (connection with the company I solely work with is via the Check Point VPN only).

After a long debugging session, the IT specialist who I work with, a great man, found out that the tracsrvwrapper reset bug appears if I install Checkpoint on a PC on which the latest Windows Security Update is already installed (specifically, the 2025-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5062553)).

The workaround is to uninstall the update, install and connect Checkpoint, then reinstall the update again.
