I tried to check a Java file in Complicance, interestingly with the same settings it only worked in the "system check" tab, in the "application/file checks" tab it didn't work. Does anyone know how to explain the difference?

Probably worth TAC case. I will see if I can verify this in one of our clients' environments tomorrow.

I didn't find any documentation explaining this. It was really through trial and error that I discovered this.

It's interesting that Checkpoint tries to explain this. I think it's a powerful tool for auditing what's installed on the machine. However, in my opinion, the documentation should be more detailed and conclusive.
