Hi Team,

We have gone through the SK "sk63026". It shows an old OPSEC SDK package with incomplete and missing libraries. Due to this, we are facing errors during compilation.

Please share the latest OPSEC SDK version, which will support running Linux OS ( like Redhat / CentOS ].

Regards,

Rizwan.

As far as I know, what’s in the SK is the latest.

To the best of my knowledge, the OPSEC APIs have mostly been deprecated and have alternatives.
For example, many management functions have REST APIs: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/latest/APIs/#introduction~v1.9.1%20
For logs, you can query via REST API or use Log Exporter, which exports in standard formats.

That means we have to use API to get rules, object and other details from Checkpoint Management server and OPSEC SDK is no more supported ?

We want to use OPSEC SDK to fecth configuration details from Checkpoint Managemnet server ..

Regards,

Satish

From sk63026: "In R80, most OPSEC CPMI commands remain supported, with the exception of policy/rulebase related commands."
Note that R80 was released in 2017.
Which means, yes, you need to use the REST APIs for your use case.
