topic SmartTask Script: how to verify published changes? in API / CLI Discussion

Hi mates,

I am currently fighting with a script, which should be executed as part of a SmartTask, which should check for a specific word/pattern in the comment of the created/edited access rule - if a rule got created/edited.

Unfortunately, I can't find any documentation about writing such scripts. In case of cecking some values of the change process, I need to access some data/variables of the changes, but I don't know how.

Hopefully someone is more experienced in scripting on Checkpoint as I am.

Kind Regards, Fabian

I recommend to check the SmartTasks in our Toolbox:
