put-file and run-as REST API script keeps showing as 'Task in progress' and never completes

Hello,

I have R80.10 Check point management server

I created a REST-API power shell script, which uses put-file and run-as script

The script puts the file and executes it as expected. No issues on the script side

however, smart console "Recent Tasks" keeps showing as the 'Task In progress' at 10% complete and never completes, even though the script completed execution

Does anyone a solution for this or is this a cosmetic bug

Offhand it sounds like a bug.

Probably worth a TAC case to investigate it.

Dameon is correct, there is a bug and the fix will be delivered during coming Jumbo HF releases.

Meanwhile, there is a trick that you can use in your script - apply a sleep for 10 seconds in your script code.
