Trigger API system backups via API

Hello,

I'm an absolute novice to firewalls, but I'm fairly familiar with automation using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc and the use of APIs.

one of the network engineers presented a use case to trigger "system backups".

I'm already able to do configuration backups using Ansible, but the use case presented to me shows "system backups" being triggered from an MDS to multiple gateways.

I'm curious about the capabilities of the management API to be able to programmatically trigger these system backups as they seem to contain more than just the "show configuration" command.

can anyone point me in the right direction on how to execute this via API call or via a console (CLI/SSH)?

Is this feasible/necessary?
