Hello,

I don't understand "account unit" in user directory, can you explain me ? Do you have an example ?

When a gateway requires user information for authentication, it searches in these places:

The first place that is queried is the internal users database.
.If there is more than one Account Unit, the Account Units are queried concurrently( WHAT DOES IT MEAN??).
The results of the query are taken from the first Account Unit to meet the conditions, or from all the Account Units which meet the condition

An Account Unit is the interface between the Security Management server, Security Gateways, and the LDAP servers.
An Account Unit represents one or more branches of the data on the LDAP server, which are defined in a specific object types.
You can have several Account Units, for one or multiple LDAP servers.

Concurrent query: they are queried at the same time (assuming the same priority) with the first one to respond winning.
