      <title>Upgrade from R77.30 to R80.10 failed during import process</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to upgrade our R77.30 management server to R80.10 using CPUSE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The OS upgrades fine and then when importing the database, it fails with "Failed during import process".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tired this fix&amp;nbsp;sk118795 but still no help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have attached the log file which was generated after the update failure.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the log file I can see the following error:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[2018-02-22 - 18:23:37][3703 4157531920]:cannot find migrate log path.&lt;BR /&gt;[2018-02-22 - 19:18:34][3703 4157531920]:Failed on importing management configuration database to Destination&lt;BR /&gt;[2018-02-22 - 19:18:34][3703 4157531920]:------ Reverting Back: ------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone help please.&amp;nbsp;&lt;IMG alt="failed during import process" class="image-1 jive-image j-img-original" src="https://community.checkpoint.com/legacyfs/online/checkpoint/63296_Capture2.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Consulting the &lt;EM&gt;Installation and Upgrade Guide R80.10&lt;/EM&gt; p.64 we read:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Upgrades from R77.x to R80.10 are supported with:&lt;BR /&gt;- CPUSE - In-place upgrade of the Security Management Server.&lt;BR /&gt;- Advanced migration ("Advanced Upgrade with Database Migration" on page 82) - Export of the database from the source R77.x Security Management Server and import to the target 80.10 Security Management Server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A customer have the same problem. We are trying to upgrade Smart 1 405(which is only SMS) R80.10 to R80.30.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Absolutely the same issue. Two A/S FWs are 4600 appliances(8GB RAM) now with 80.10 they also should be upgraded after management.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BUT till now without any success. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
