Hi PhoneBoy,

I setup pppoe interface before VSX, but after enable VSX, I can not choose pppoe interface, only physical interface can be choose.

So I think VSX didn't support pppoe interface.

Regards,

Jarvis

My guess would be, only on VS0.
There is no way to configure the PPPoE data in SmartConsole.

Not to my knowledge as it would require the PPPoE interfaces supported inside the VS itself.

The documentation suggests this is supported.
Or at least it's not listed as unsupported here: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk79700

As you cannot configure PPPOE when the gateway is in VSX mode (the appropriate commands are blocked per https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92311 ) you probably have to configure them prior to enabling VSX mode on the gateway.
Whether you can achieve the architecture in your gateway I'm not sure.

just do a 'set vsx off' change the interface settings you need and issue a 'set vsx on' command and you should be ok.

PPPoE is not supported by ClusterXL (sk101747). I think, therefore it will not work in a vsx cluster.
