Software Blades update

Dears,
Our customer wants to be very secure. Their internal network hasn't any internet connection (all servers and appliances).
Check Point firewall in their network. Unfortunately, Software blades cannot do update.
Can do updates by manually? Download updates on pc, then upload to appliance. I

s it possible?

I'm pretty sure about ips update but you need a different license for that , should be possible for other blade too

can you please elaborate a little bit more if possible what do you mean by "Unfortunately, Software blades cannot do update" ? Software Blades does not update themselves except mentioned IPS. What other blades you'd want to update though? Did you meant "Software Update" or OS Update? I guess you need to be more specific in order to get any assistance or help, otherwise you can always ask you Check Point representative (Sales/Support) about things related specifically to your estate.

I mean about "Software Update". So IPS can do offline update.

Anti-Virus and Anti-Bot blades have to do update...

There is the option for an offline IPS package however I believe you need to contact Sales in order to get access to the packages. The other blades require internet access per sk83520 "Security Gateways and Security Management Server require access to the Internet..."

Proxy might be a good solution here. However, if you are required a offline update and cannot work it around any other way,, talk to your local CP representative. You will need a special authorization to do that

You can download offline updates for IPS, which requires signing a specific EULA.

Please check with your account team on this.

To update many of the other Software Blades offline, you will need to acquire a "Private ThreatCloud" appliance.
