Checkpoint R80.20 Objects Export/Import

Hi Everybody,

I have a quick question , does anybody knows how to export objects from a Manager running on R80.20 and import those objects into a new manager?

We are standing up a new manager, so we would like to use the same objects we have on the existing one without having to create so many objects manually on the new one , if that makes sense.

Appreciate any guidance on how to accomplish this.

A standard migrate export/import will do it and more.

Hi,

Just a quick question , when i m trying to run the cli_api_export_objects script i m getting this error after typing the password.

Not sure why this is happening since i m typing the right password. I just created another user for testing and got the same error.

Password:
mgmt_cli login error!

code: "err_login_failed"
message: "Authentication to server failed."

Terminating script...
Exitcode 255
