DHCP server config - clusterXL - sync leases?

Hello,

if I configure dhcp server in an HA cluster - do I have to configure individual IP ranges on each gw for the client leases or is this information synced in cluster so that I can use the same ranges?

Actually question is for R80.20 gaia cluster but would also be interesting if same behavior on SMB appliances.

Pretty sure DHCP leases are not sync'ed between cluster members, even if Gaia Cloning Groups are in use.

So....the dhcp ranges must be unique per member to avoid the after failover active gateway offers already in use dhcp adresses?

@Timothy_Hall is right, lease is not synced. You can have two ranges, one per cluster member. If you want something better, use external DHCP server and DHCP relays on your cluster members
