    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I opened case for this question around a year ago and the official answer was:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"There is no way to gather such information from CLI".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BUT&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was able to found some info by shutting down affected interface and bring it up again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Where?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/var/log/messages&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;dmesg&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cant remember exact info there was, but for sure there was no serial number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope (dont believe) that there will be something like "show interface transceiver" in R80.30 ....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
