Hi,

We have to do a clean install for a virtual SMS. So we will create a VM, install R80.40. But in order to import the config whats is the recommended method: ¿snapshot, backup, migrate export?.

i was about to restore a backup.

I would use migrate_server export / import - compare the different possibilities using sk108902 - Best Practices - Backup on Gaia OS

Probably migrate_export or migrate_server starting from R80.20. Doing a restore might not work right if its a different hardware.
